altRecovering and Preserving the Spirit of the Horse!

This mission has become the core of my life. I am so full of desire to speak up for the horse. Yet, sometimes I am left without words.

A horse reared up, fell over and crushed the rider. She broke her hip, several times, and had a handful of other injuries.
The story teller said: "Yep, they must have forgotten to give him his drugs that morning".

Ughhh! Is anybody listening?

Sometimes there are no words....we are suprised to be taken aback...yet again....by the ability of the human to act mindlessnessly. My core mission @ this juncture is to recover and preserve the spirit of my children primarily....and both with them and my horses I have acted mindlessly....looking for a quick fix, looking for the solution that makes me feel good.....I've come to know that only when everyone's spirit is honored can there be room for change.
